SPORTS PREMIUM

WHAT IS SPORTS PREMIUM?

The government is providing school sport funding of £150 million – 2015-2017. This funding is jointly provided by the Department for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport and will be sent directly to primary schools, to spend on improving the quality of sport and PE for all students.

HOW DO WE USE IT?

Provision of external coaches to provide expert tuition and taster sessions for students and staff in various activities such as football, athletics, multi skills, karate, dance, cycling and cricket
